Northern California Veterinary Specialists (NCVS) is an independent referral practice that provides specialized veterinary care and 24 hour emergency service for companion animals. Our mission is to provide the best specialty health care environment with superior customer service, ensuring that the needs of the patient, the pet parent and the referring veterinarian are met.

We do not provide any general practice services. Many of our treatment protocols can be done in conjunction with your referring veterinarian if travel is a hardship. We serve Northern and Central California and Western Nevada.

We pride ourselves in providing a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of a wide variety of challenging diseases in small animal veterinary medicine.

Northern California Veterinary Specialists has specially trained emergency and critical care veterinarians on site 24 hour a day. Our nursing staff provides the best "bedside" care because we pride ourselves in maintaining a nursing staff that is highly technically skilled in all aspects of veterinary specialty medicine. Our entire staff is dedicated to providing a "home away from home" environment for our patients. We are committed to helping everyone who is affected by a patient's illness.
