Dr Nagle specializes in the treatment of diseases of the skin, which also includes ears, claws, and anal sacs as well as conditions affecting the coat.
Allergies are a major component of dermatology and veterinary dermatologists are extensively trained in allergy management. As well as unusual cases where a diagnosis is not obvious, cases that do not respond to therapy as expected, or cases where problems often recur may benefit from consultation with a dermatologist.
New appointments take about 60 minutes not including time taken to complete paperwork or to check out. Completing your registration form & the history questionnaire in advance saves time.

Dermatology sees cases each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and on alternate Saturday mornings. Please note that due to high demand and staffing limits, consultations fees are slightly higher on Saturdays.

Ask your local veterinarian to fax us the patient's history before your first appointment.

Referrals are preferred but not required. Northern California Veterinary Specialists is a Specialist and Emergency facility only.
Most dermatology cases require a number of visits so please bring your diary to book the recheck appointment.
