Patients are given anesthesia tailored to their specific needs, in a comforting and supportive environment to reduce patient stress.    Anesthetic recovery is closely monitored by our highly qualified nursing staff and emergency doctors.  

Doctors are on-site 24 hours a day for post-operative patient care.  Our emergency service is open 24/7 and our surgeons provide for surgeries after hours to meet emergent needs.   Our emergency/critical care doctors transfer cases seamlessly between shifts so that post-operative care can be given effectively.

 Surgical Services
We offer comprehensive surgical services, including soft tissue procedures such as reconstructive and oncologic surgery, neurologic procedures including spinal fractures and spinal decompression, and orthopedic procedures.   Advanced orthopedic procedures such as Triple Pelvic Osteotomy (TPO) and Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) are routinely done. Our 24/7 service provides trauma surgery to meet emergent needs. Optimal pre-surgical planning can be done with our in-house CT scanner and myelography when necessary. 


The surgery service works closely with the other services of our hospital in a multi-disciplinary, team approach to patient care. This team approach ensures that every patient receives the best possible care that we  would expect for our own family pets.
