What do I do if I have an emergency?
If your local veterinarian is not available we are staffed 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week, including holidays. Please telephone ahead if at all possible so that we can expect you.
How do I arrange an appointment with one of the specialists?
Call the hospital to book an appointment between 9 and 5 Monday to Friday. You can also ask your local veterinarian to send your medical records or we can contact them for you.
Do I need a referral?
While we prefer to work with a local veterinarian, referrals are not mandatory. Please be aware that we do not provide general practice services such as neutering, dentals or vaccines.
Do I need to come back for rechecks?
Some cases require rechecks and follow up treatment but this depends upon the individual case and condition. Many patients have their follow-up done by their referring doctor.
Will my local vet know what is happening with my pet?
We endeavor to keep your local clinic updated when their patients visit our hospital by faxing reports, the results of any laboratory testing, calling and sending summary letters..
What are the payment arrangements and what forms of payment are accepted?
An estimate of costs will be given for any animal that is admitted to the hospital and a deposit is required before admission. However, since your pet's medical condition may require care that exceeds the estimate, we aim to update every owner on their current bill every other day. You certainly may ask for an update daily.
For outpatient visits and consultations payment in full is required at the time of service. Payment in full is also required at the time of discharge for hospitalized patients.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards. Personal checks are immediately processed electronically.
We also accept Care Credit Click here
